About the Job
We are searching for a London-based Sales Director with direct work experience in sales of deep-tech enterprise software and/or data privacy solutions.
The primary emphasis of this role is to maximise revenue growth through new client sales, ensuring that there is a dynamic pipeline of deals (managing our incoming leads, seeking new business opportunities) and developing a strong
relationship network within the DataSecOps community.
This role will also support the development, in conjunction with the co-Founders, of eXate’s Business Development and Go To Market strategy on both new and existing products.
Research, target and prospect new eXate target clients.
Generate, manage and close a pipeline of new potential clients in order to meet sales quotas.
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results andannual forecasts), and prepare reports on account status.
Relay prospective client feedback to the Product Team to ensure that development is in line with client needs.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting “trusted advisor” client relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors, with a goal to convert them to enterprise clients.
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize benefit.
Mentor, coach and develop junior sales team members.
Successful track record of generating significant new Enterprise level business revenue through technical sales in a long sales cycle environment.
Experience in structuring, driving, negotiating, and closing
sophisticated sales to solve complex problems, and potentially displacing competitors.
The discipline to follow a structured approach to lead evolution and sales.
Ability to deliver an effective pitch and technology demonstration to customers while actively listening to customer needs, concerns andgoals.
Solid networking and relationship development skills, with the ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders, including executive and C-level.
Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with respect to listening, presenting, and negotiating.
Strong computer skills - including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
Proficiency in use of LinkedIn as a lead generation tool.
Work collaboratively with the client to deliver exceptional customer experience with every project.
Ability to understand and manage sales metrics.
Ability to adapt to changing business issues and requirements.
